CV640-TIF Series Thermal Imaging Module
The CV640-TIF Series features an uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) focal plane array detector with an 8–14 μm spectral response range and a 640 × 512 detector resolution.
With an NETD of ≤25 mK and a 60 Hz frame rate, the CV640-TIF Series delivers smooth, high-resolution thermal imaging with excellent thermal sensitivity and clear target details. It is equipped with a CVBS analog video output in PAL format and a UART control interface with a baud rate of 115200.
The module supports 1× to 8× digital zoom, White Hot and Black Hot color palettes, automatic or manual scene switching, and adjustable image enhancement, brightness, and contrast. Shutter calibration and non-uniformity correction can also be controlled through the UART serial interface.
The module operates on a wide 5–18 VDC input with power consumption of ≤0.8 W. It is designed for operating temperatures from −20°C to +60°C and provides shock resistance of up to 80 g at 4 ms.
The CV640-TIF Series is available with 6.8 mm, 9 mm, 13 mm, 18 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, and 50 mm lens options, covering both wide-angle observation and long-range detection requirements. Depending on the selected lens, the field of view ranges from 58.9° × 48.6° to 8.8° × 7°, while the maximum detection distance ranges from 680 m to 5,000 m.
With weights ranging from approximately 26 g to 122 g depending on the lens configuration, the CV640-TIF Series combines high-resolution imaging, flexible lens selection, low power consumption, and compact dimensions for integration into UAV systems, handheld thermal devices, surveillance equipment, industrial inspection systems, and other thermal imaging applications.
