W3 Standard Series Multifunctional Thermal Imaging Module

The W3 Standard Series features an uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) focal plane array detector with an 8–14 μm spectral response range, a 12 μm pixel pitch, and a 384 × 288 detector resolution.

With an NETD of ≤25 mK and a 50 Hz frame rate, the W3-N3-K1 Series delivers smooth thermal imaging with high thermal sensitivity and clear target details. It is equipped with a CVBS analog video output in PAL format and uses an SMD interface with a 1.25 mm pitch and 3-pin configuration.

The module supports the Glow display mode, manual gear selection, and automatic scene switching, allowing the image presentation to adapt to different observation environments.

The W3-N3-K1 Series is available with either a 4 mm or 9 mm lens. The 4 mm model provides a wide 59.9° × 46.7° field of view, with a detection distance of up to 400 m, a recognition distance of 100 m, and a resolving distance of 50 m. The 9 mm model offers a narrower 28.7° × 21.8° field of view, with a detection distance of up to 900 m, a recognition distance of 225 m, and a resolving distance of 113 m.

The module operates on a wide 4.5–27 VDC input with power consumption of ≤0.8 W. It is designed for operating temperatures from −20°C to +60°C and provides shock resistance of up to 80 g at 4 ms.

Measuring approximately 43.3 × 26 × 35 mm and weighing 56.5 g, the W3-N3-K1 Series combines sensitive thermal imaging, flexible lens selection, wide-voltage operation, and a compact structure for integration into handheld thermal devices, monitoring equipment, industrial inspection systems, and other thermal imaging applications.
