M2 Series Multifunctional Thermal Imaging Module
The M2 Series features an uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) focal plane array detector with an 8–14 μm spectral response range, a 12 μm pixel pitch, and a 256 × 192 detector resolution.
With an NETD of ≤25 mK and a 50 Hz frame rate, the M2-C Series delivers smooth thermal imaging with enhanced sensitivity and clear target detail. It is equipped with a CVBS analog video output in PAL format and a UART control interface with a baud rate of 115200. The module supports 1× to 8× digital zoom, multiple color palettes—including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, and Iron Red—as well as adjustable brightness, contrast, and image enhancement settings.
The module operates on a wide 4.5–18 VDC input with power consumption of ≤0.8 W. It is designed for operating temperatures from −20°C to +60°C and provides shock resistance of up to 80 g at 4 ms.
Available with either a 4 mm or 9 mm lens, the M2-C Series offers flexible options for different observation requirements. The 4 mm model provides a wider 42° × 32.1° field of view and a detection range of up to 400 m, while the 9 mm model provides a narrower 19.4° × 14.6° field of view and a detection range of up to 900 m.
With a compact size of 21 × 21 × 34 mm and a lightweight design of only 26 g, the M2-C Series is well suited for integration into UAVs, handheld thermal devices, security systems, industrial equipment, and other compact thermal imaging applications.
